I Tetti sul mare is run by Lisa, who created the activity in 2014, when after a long stint working is Africa, decided to return to her grandmothe’s old walls and live on the grounds with her children. Lisa will welcome you and take care of all your necessities as as you require, often with little Diego is tow…. When time allows, she dedicates herself to the details, supporting her father in maintaining that wonderful land that surrounds the house. Lisa is welcoming and helpful and she will go out of her way to make you feel like you have arrived for the holiday you deserve.
Lisa’s family has been in Tellaro for generations, since the mid-1800s, and in the homestead from 1920 when the homestead was built. A family that took care of the land, and of the traditional viticulture and olive growing that still continues today, even if only for family production..
You could ask Lisa to show you the ancient tools for making wine, which her father still uses.
Lisa brings history and tradition with her and she can’t wait to tell you about it. She is a Guide and chairs the small library of the Borgo which holds numerous books on the historical and cultural memory of the area.
